Forex Session Time
Track global market hours in your local timezone
What is Forex Session Time Converter
Our free Forex Session Time Converter helps traders track global market hours including the Sydney (AUD), Tokyo (JPY), Frankfurt (EUR), London (GBP), and New York (USD) sessions directly in their local timezone. The foreign exchange market is open 24 hours a day, 5 days a week, making it essential to know exactly when market volatility peaks.
By highlighting overlapping sessions (such as the London-New York overlap), our tracker identifies the best times to trade when liquidity and momentum are at their highest. Simply select your local timezone to see real-time open and close statuses for the world's most active financial centers.
How to Use This Tool (Worked Example)
Scenario: You live in South Africa (SAST, UTC+2) and trade the London killzone. You want to know exactly when London opens in your time.
Step 1: The tool auto-detects your timezone. If it shows Africa/Johannesburg, you are set. If not, select it from the dropdown.
Step 2: Look at the London card. It shows the open/close times converted to your local timezone (10:00 AM - 6:00 PM SAST in summer).
Step 3: Check the overlap indicator. If London + New York are both green, you are in the highest liquidity window (3:00 PM - 6:00 PM SAST).
Step 4: Use the countdown timer to see exactly how long until the next session opens or closes.
Why this matters: Trading during low-liquidity hours (like Sydney-only) often means wide spreads and choppy price action. This tool helps you trade only when the market is active and liquid, which is when SMC setups tend to play out cleanly.
